October paints the trees in copper and gold, sends a cool hush through the mornings, and invites us to slow down and notice what has been stirring beneath the surface.
As the season changes, take a moment to reflect:
Does a relationship feel different?
Has an old belief stopped fitting?
Is a dream asking for your attention?
The heart is where we recognize what is true, even before we have words for it.
Love, trust, belonging, and the quiet sense that a path is right cannot always be seen; they must be felt.
So, what feels true in your heart right now?
Where can you be fully yourself?
What feeling, need, or hope have you been holding back?
Staying connected to your heart can begin with a small moment of awareness.
You might notice that you need rest, reach out to someone you miss, or pause before saying yes.
This month, make room for those truths.
Take a quiet walk, place a hand over your heart and ask what you need, or write down a feeling you’ve struggled to name. When a conversation matters, speak honestly—and listen with care.
If you hope to create or change something, take one gentle, practical step toward it.
Clear space for a project, spend ten minutes making something, or begin moving toward the life you imagine.
An intention for October:
I will stay connected to my heart, honor what I feel, speak with honesty and kindness, and make room for relationships where I can be fully myself.
When the world grows loud, pause and listen.
Then let one small action show your heart that you heard.
– With love and light, Clarissa
This Month's Gatherings
From Soul Notes
I smiled—and thought of a photograph I took on a walk: a sidewalk scattered with colorful chalk drawings, bright little fragments of imagination glowing against the gray.
I imagined the children who had gathered there earlier.
Small hands choosing colors.
A game taking shape as they played.
A flower with uneven petals. A crooked heart. A lopsided face. A sun bursting with far too many rays. Stick figures of animals.
The sidewalk seemed to hold the happy evidence of a very good afternoon..
If these words spoke to your heart, I invite you to continue reading this Soul Note.

The Autumn Equinox: An Honest Measure
The Autumn Equinox marks a brief turning point when the sun crosses the celestial equator and light and darkness come into near balance.
Perhaps the invitation of this day is not to create perfect balance in our lives, but to take an honest measure of what this season has grown within us.
The earth does not carry everything forward.
Some things become nourishment.
Some fall away and return to the soil.
Some are quietly held as seeds for another season.
We are allowed to do the same.

A New Resource from Guided Healing Pathways
In September, I introduced the Sensitive Soul’s Daily Energy Reset, a free guided practice created for those days when the energy around you begins to feel like too much.
It includes a guided Energy Reset along with four audio practices you can return to whenever you need a few quiet moments to reconnect with yourself.
If you haven’t explored it yet, it’s here whenever you need it.
